Our eggs come from chickens that are raised as naturally as possible. They spend their lives outdoors, and are rotated onto pastures where they find delicious, nutrient-dense grubs and spread their manure in the fields, helping with soil fertility. The eggs are flavorful, with a bright yolk and strong shell. The hens are fed non-GMO grains milled in Washington State, and are supplemented with scrap veggies, occasional bread from local food banks, and calcium-rich oyster shell. Our current flock is comprised of Black Australorps, a prolific layer of gorgeous tan eggs.
