Tender and flavorful meat from grass-fed lambs
We are expanding our sheep flock through selective on-farm breeding. Our sheep are Katahdin, a meat breed hailing from Maine that has hair rather than wool and sheds its coat naturally.
All sheep are rotated on pasture for most of the year, where they get 100% of their nutrition from the grass. In the winter they are brought into a dry, warm hoop house and are fed hay grown here at the farm.
Lambs are born in the spring and harvested in the late summer and early fall.
