Poultry Slaughter Class: Friday November 23rd
Celebrate "Black Friday" by supporting your local farmers and participating in a unique experience that will give you a better appreciation of where your food comes from!
Join our class to learn how to process a chicken from slaughter to evisceration, and everything in between! This is the ultimate hands-on experience, and no chicken will ever taste as amazing as the one you put your own hard work into. Each participant will get to take home the chicken they processed. We will be harvesting our older hens, which allows us to extend the usefulness of each bird on our farm. These "stewing hens" create wonderful, nourishing broth and soup: perfect for the wintertime!
